The 15” QM4 features a very smooth frequency response, extending further down to achieve an even bigger bass sound; while still maintaining a very natural sounding vocal response - often hard to achieve with a large bass driver. In the case of the QM4 however, Quest Engineering has paid particular attention to maintaining vocal integrity. The 85 x 75 degree elliptical wave guide gives even coverage with a minimum of feedback causing “hotspots”.
Further EQ control is available with both cut and boost HF/LF controls on the QM4 preamplifier section. This is more convenient than the current fashion of preset user adjustments. The input section of the QM4 allows for either microphone or line level input from 1/4" inch jack or XLR connectors.
